Refund Policy

At Scrummy, we want you to be completely satisfied with your subscription. This Refund Policy outlines our approach to refunds and cancellations.

1. Our Commitment

We believe in our product and want you to experience its full value. If you're not satisfied, we're here to make it right.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Full Refund (Within 14 Days)

You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • You request a refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase
  • You have not extensively used the paid features (at our reasonable discretion)
  • It's your first refund request for Scrummy

2.2 Prorated Refund (Annual Plans)

For annual subscriptions cancelled after 14 days:

  • We offer a prorated refund for unused months
  • Calculated based on full monthly rate, not discounted annual rate
  • Minimum 3 months must be remaining on your plan

2.3 No Refund

Refunds are not available for:

  • Monthly subscriptions cancelled after 14 days (you keep access until period ends)
  • Subscription renewals (cancel before renewal date)
  • Additional seat purchases after 14 days
  • Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
  • Second or subsequent refund requests

3. How to Request a Refund

Step 1: Contact Support

Email us at support@scrummy.pro with:

  • Your account email
  • Reason for refund request
  • Subscription type (monthly/annual)

Step 2: We Review

We'll review your request within 2-3 business days.

Step 3: Refund Processed

If approved, refunds are processed via Stripe (our payment processor) and typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.

4. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation

  • Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing
  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • No refund for remaining days (monthly) or prorated refund may apply (annual)

Refund

  • Contact support to request a refund
  • If approved, subscription ends immediately
  • Refund issued per eligibility criteria above

5. Subscription Changes

Downgrading

  • You can downgrade to a lower tier or Free plan anytime
  • Change takes effect at next billing cycle
  • No refund for current period

Upgrading

  • Upgrades take effect immediately
  • Prorated charge for remainder of billing cycle

6. Free Trial

If we offer a free trial:

  • No charge during trial period
  • Cancel before trial ends to avoid charges
  • No refund for forgetting to cancel (set a reminder!)

7. Enterprise Agreements

Enterprise customers with custom agreements should refer to their contract terms. Contact your account manager for refund inquiries.

8. Disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error:

  1. Contact us at support@scrummy.pro first
  2. We'll investigate and resolve most issues quickly
  3. If unresolved, you may dispute with your bank (chargebacks may result in account suspension)

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. The policy in effect at time of purchase applies to that transaction.
